You're so beautiful?

This was my thinking during a conversation I had with a good friend of mine about a pivotal moment between her and her man-friend.

--At that pivotal time and moment, that was all he had to say? "You're so beautiful?" What kind of crap is that? Usually at this point in time things aren't said. The silence of the moment is enough for most. Looking deeply in one another's eyes, just holding on to a moment like that, and of course he goes on to say something from a movie like "you're so beautiful." Men are interesting creatures they are. I love how they hardly ever find time to tell you how nice you look that day, or how they never stop to buy you flowers, but they only find time to tell you that you are beautiful when a scenario from a movie has come into play and they cop out and say the last thing they heard at that chick flick you made them see the week before.
Please, can't you come up with anything better to say?--

Sorry for the rant, I just thought I would find the time to tell you all of the predictableness that is the species of man.
