Too Close Too Soon?

So, last night and this morning have added up to be the most "quality" time that I have been able to spend with Lauren's new beau, Jason. I find him quite interesting and perhaps amusing. The first couple of times that I met him there were a few more people around so this was a more intimate encounter. (No, not that kind of intimate). I found out some interesting things about him.
1. Not so good taste in movies. He's one of those people who watches movies because of who directs them. In my opinion, that's not a safe way to watch a movie. Proof of this was that he brought Jersey Girl with him last night. Yea, Jersey Girl. It stars Ben Affleck, Liv Tyler, George Carlin, and for a short time Jennifer Lopez. That should have been the first indication that I shouldn't watch it, but of course I'm a sap and it looked cute so I indulged. Let me just say, "ew." I forgive him though, I've been known to be sucked into JLo movies and sadly I have actually paid to see some of them.
2. He was taken aback by my interest in his life. Oh yes, everyone who knows me knows that I'm a question girl. When I meet people, I like to get to know them and I usually provide miles of unnecessary information about myself. Somehow, we got on the topic of STD testing, I sure didn't get many answers there, it doesn't worry me though (he seems like a stand-up guy, or at least the type who showers regularly). My favorite is when I get so deep that people start diverting the conversation after every question.
3. Jason has a fear of relationships. Now this is common with the male species. I think the exact words I heard were "3 months is scary." Whoa, watch out Lauren.
All in all, I am glad that I got to spend some quality time with Jason. I am definitely a fan. He's very sweet and plays with Mo a lot, but who wouldn't. I wish Lauren had met him a long time ago so that we could have all gotten to know eachother better. As sad as it is, I'm not sure if I will ever see him again. He moves on Sunday. *tear*
Well, that is my blog for tonight. I hope I didn't divulge so much information that Lauren gets pissed. I don't suspect that she will, but you never know.
