Freaking worst news EVER!
Yesterday, Justin and I finally set ourselves on a wedding date. June 24, 2006. The date seems to make everyone fairly happy and my mom was able to book the church and photographer today and she's booking the country club tomorrow for the reception. I really wanted an April wedding, but it just didn't work out.
Ok, so tonight I receive a frantic call from Meagan and she asked me what my wedding date was and then she quickly hung up and had to go "check on something." When she called me back she broke the news:
A girl that I can hardly stand to be in the same room with is getting married on the SAME FREAKING DAY as me. Oh yes, same freaking day. It was bad enough when I found out she got engaged before me, now she has to take my day.
Again, it was bad enough when I found out that she got engaged a couple weeks before me, especially since she always ragged on me for talking about Justin and how I wanted to marry him. She also used to say that she and her boyfriend weren't going to get engaged until after they both graduated, liar. Ugh.
I know that it isn't a competition or anything and I know that it doesn't matter because my friends are all coming to my wedding, so I am just blessed that I get to have a big beautiful wedding with all of my friends and family. Its just that I feel like she has once again stolen my thunder.
All I have to say is that our children better not be born on the same day.
