Miserable

I thought I would use my blog this morning to express how miserable I am today. So first off, I woke up on the entirely wrong side of the bed this morning. I've been so grumpy because I had such a crappy night's sleep. I kept being woken up in the middle of the night, for once it wasn't the neighbors I share my wall with. Not to mention, I woke up at 5:45 yesterday morning, so I was extra tired yesterday anyways. I am definitely sleeping in tomorrow until at least 10 or 11.

Also, today is my last day working at NTS, my campus job. Tuesday I start my "real," big girl job, I'm very excited about that! Unfortunately, because of the holidays and the fact that my supervisor is gone, there is nothing to do at work so I am incredibly bored. I have already gone through what I can do:
1. Stare at my phone for a good 5 minutes without turning my head (you wouldn't believe the number of times and ways you can count the number of buttons on a phone).
2. Check Facebook (I've never been more familiar with my friends' profiles).
3. Check my gmail (there's never anything there because the people I email haven't even gotten out of bed yet).
4. Solitaire (you can only do that for so long before it takes over your mind and everything you think about is thought of in terms of solitaire and cards)
5. Blogging (right now).

This is my plan for the rest of the day:
1. Listening to Ipod and hopefully having something to work on for work at some point today.
2. Fill-it-in puzzles.
3. More solitaire
4. Freecell
5. Minesweeper
6. Lunch
7. Repeat steps 1-5
8. Wrap my boss's office in cling wrap (that's what he gets for being out of town on my last day here - - he's just lucky I'm not putting any of his desk supplies in jello).
9. Possibly blogging again, depends on what happens over lunch and if I'm still miserable.

I'm On A Roll Now

Thank you Meagan for introducing me to Sephora. I have now become engulfed in making a favorites list as well. Mine took a mere 30 minutes to become over $500 of beauty supplies. Jeez! But, I'm at work and it is really boring and I still have 6 hours and 15 minutes to pass, so what else can I do? I just thought I would show everyone a few of my favorites:

Bust Enhancer! My dreams have come true!

I love cupcakes, why not smell like one?

I just thought that this sounded tasty!

I'm just really into these colors right now!

The rest is just normal make-up type stuff. I feel like I should finally learn how to really do my make-up so that I can look fancy now and then.

I haven't blogged in forever

I just thought I would grace everyone with my bloggity blogginess since I haven't done so for so long. I say that as if there are people other than Meagan, Ashley, and Lauren who would read my blog. So here's a quick update:
1. I graduated from college on December 11, 2005!! Yeah!
2. I took a "girls only" road trip to Louisiana with Lauren, Ashley, and Lisa to go see Meagan. It was really fun until I got pulled over for going the wrong way down a one-way street in Houston. Oops. Now I have an expensive ticket and I was sternly told that if I don't take care of that ticket TX and KS have an agreement that says I will be arrested in KS or whatever they do to young women who forget about tickets. I need to remember to call today to find out how much the ticket actually costs.
3. Christmas has come and gone. This year was really nice. I got an Ipod, thank you "Santa" Mom and Dad. Now I am just in the process of figuring it all out and trying to find a way to legally, and frugally, download music off the internet to put on it. Any suggestions?
4. New Years is coming upon us once again. My resolution is to run 5 days a week. I want to do a half-marathon by June (preferably before the wedding) and then a full marathon next fall with my dad. I really think I can do it if I put my mind to it.

Other than that, I'm still the same boring person I was last year when I started this blog over Christmas break.

Eat this Ashley!

So, I'm blogging. Ashley has been bugging me forever about it, so this should shut her up. :) Oh well. There's not much to say. School is good. 45 days, including weekends, until my graduation day! Yay. Oh wait, not yay. Scary! I'm not sure what I am going to do. I just know that I need to make enough money to pay the rent, buy food for myself and Mo, get some insurance, pay the utility bills, and still afford to have a little fun here and there. Double scary! I might even cry. Thanks Ashley, look what you did to me. See you tomorrow.

2 in 1 night?

I'm crazy, just crazy. I can't believe I am blogging twice in 1 night. Ashley inspired me to tell you all about Tuesday night's anatomy test. I didn't study as well as I thought I did, because I failed. A big flaming, flying F. Yikesabee. Oh well, we can drop a test and that class so its no big thing. I just thought you would all want to know.

Drunken Mo!

So, a couple of weeks ago Lauren bought a multitude of strange beers from World Market. Tonight she decided to lay them all out so that we could have a "tasting" session. I think she was just looking for an excuse to exercise her alcoholism. So I had a sip of each, and honestly my favorite was when I mixed the worst three beers together and had a taste. Mmm. Now there are a bunch of beers in front of us that no one is going to drink. I wish there was someone here who liked beer...
Oh wait, there is. During this tasting session Mo became quite curious about what we were doing. He tried to get a drink off of the table after tasting a dribble off of the couch. It was quite cute.

**Disclaimer: We did not give Mo beer. He did not get drunk, he just tried, really hard. No animals were harmed during this session.

Its been a long long while...

Its been a long while since my last blog and I have a lot to blog about. My past month has been quite crazy. I've worked a lot, so much to do. I've realized that classes are a pain in my ass and I really don't enjoy going to them (I think there have only been 2 of my Anatomy classes that I've actually stayed awake during - I'm going to bomb Tuesday's test). I walked around KU with my ass hanging out because I am fat and split my pants and didn't know it. Oh yes there are pictures too. I will provide them at a later date. Mo is being a pain with potty training - more so, I'm just getting impatient, he's really coming along. Justin's sister is at KU now. That's pretty fun. We see eachother way more than I thought we ever would and I like it.
Note: I just had to tell Justin's dad to keep his pants on. Yikes!
My 21st birthday is 9 days and 39 minutes away. PARTY!! (in my pants - hehehe) I'm making a whole week out of it. We are going out for dinner on Monday, to the bars on Thursday, and then to the casinos on Friday. Oh yea baby!
Well, I think that is about it. I'm going to head off to bed and sleep. I'll be back, I alway crawl back into the life of blogging (everyone harasses me about it).

Most Phenomenal Part of My Day!

Ok, I know I haven't blogged in a while, but nothing has been as spectacular to blog about as what I am about to write. So, first of all, today we threw Brandon a little birthday party with tacos and cake. Yeah fun!
So, for the good stuff:

I was just sitting in the living room watching some Tommy Boy and Lauren went to bed. All of a sudden I hear "Jayme! Come here!" I get to her room to find her pressed up against the wall...guess what she was listening to, "Neighbors having sex for 500, Alex!" Ding ding ding! Oh yes we hear the neighbors squeaking away. It was great. I soon proceded to pound on the wall, thus killing their mood.

Scene:
"Knock, Knock, Knock."
"Errh!"
Silence.

Tee hee hee. It was magic.

Lauren had told me of this happening before, but this time I got to experience it first hand. They definitely need to move the bed across the room, but part of me hopes that they don't so that we can enjoy the random entertainment some other night. I also went and got some cups from the kitchen for our listening enjoyment, they definitely enhanced the experience. Well, I hope you all enjoy the magic of this blog.

Relief

Ok, I'm finally relieved. It was Brandi on the phone and she's on her way back. I told her that I was worried and she laughed at me. It was kind of silly, but I just want to make sure that she's ok.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now for the real blog of the evening:

Its been a while since my last blog, but nothing incredibly exciting has happened lately. School started. I have some good classes. They don't seem like they will be entirely difficult or stressful. I'm already on my road of procrastination (not a surprise), but its not as bad as usual. I'm still waiting to figure out what I am going to do with my independent study. I need to know this week so that I can get my money back if I decide not to do it.
As far as wedding stuff goes, you'll have to read my wedding blog to get that information.

The mommy in me...

So, I've recently found the "mommy in me." Tonight Justin's little sister drove an hour away with her friends, definitely a new thing due to her being in college. Now I'm sitting here, its been three hours since I last talked to her, and I'm hoping that she got home ok. I tried to nonchalantly call her just to "see what she was up to," but she didn't answer. So, now I'm worrying even more, even though I know I shouldn't. Ok, the phone's ringing. I hope that's her!
